Leno photo-2I hate being in front of the camera—and not like those people who say they hate being in front of the camera and then strike a dramatic pose whenever the opportunity arises. I mean—I really hate it. That’s why I waited until just about the last possible minute to shoot the photo that will appear in the back of my book. And here it is! A rare combination for me: eye contact and a (semi) smile.

With many, many thanks to the great Amanda for being so patient and driving all over Los Angeles to find the perfect place to shoot this.

There’s a year to go until my book comes out! I’ve yet to decide whether that feels like an eternity or a second…
